In the given article by A.A. Rakov attention is paid to some results presented in the monograph «‘Derevnyu opustoshayut’: Stalin’s collectivization and ‘dekulakization’ in the Ural in 1930s», in particular - to the analysis of one of the created databases called ‘Dekulakized’ peasants of the Southern Ural (1930-1934)’. According to the book contest of 2014 by the RAS Research Council for the Issues in Russian and World Economic History the author was awarded with the Academician P. V. Volobuev diploma and prize.
