The article examines the economic aspects of the spread of African swine fever and its elimination, both in Russia and in the main regions of the world. The basic concepts of the origin, dangers, pathways and mechanisms of the spread of African swine fever are preliminary briefly presented, and the final section of the report presents the results of the completion of the development of effective vaccines designed to prevent the spread of African swine fever.
