The article analyzes average cost of transactions on merge and absorption in branches of the Russian economy. We consider types of merges and merger of the media industry enterprises, and also six factors of success of integration of the com- panies. The article offers the major motives of integration of the media enterprises and it describes results of integration of friendly and hostile merges into the film industries.
