Economic interests of the Russian Federation and countries of the North Africa in fuel and energy sector

The article is devoted to the pressing issue of strategic cooperation between RussianFederation and countries of the North African region in the field of fuel andenergy complex. The author analyzes the main provisions of the Energy Strategy of Russia for the period up to 2030. Substantiates strengthening of the dialogue on energy policy with foreign partners, with the countries of North Africa. The article shows indicators characterizing the energy sector of the countries-exporters of hydrocarbons of the North African region. The author presents arguments in favor of strengthening bilateral relations between the Russian Federation and countries of North Africa region in the energy sector. The article presents important trends, forms of international cooperation in the oil and gas sector; it analyzes the features and prospects of establishing joint strategic projects, programs, research, production and development of oil and gas resources.
