In the Soviet state, as is known, soon after the October Revolution, the nationalization of the economy began in accordance with the ideological and political guidelines of the Bolsheviks. Accordingly, the process of nationalization of the economy began, for which a large number of regulations were adopted. Throughout the entire period of development of the USSR, this process proceeded contradictorily. The article examines the features of the status of economic entities within the Soviet economy during the period of so-called “stagnation” (1960-1970s). It is noted that in the specified time period, attempts were made to reform the economic management system, which is usually associated with the “Kosygin reforms,” which began after the removal of N.S. from all posts. Khrushchev. The general direction of the reforms was to expand the economic independence of enterprises on the basis of material incentives for highly productive labor, which, however, came into certain conflict with the socialist theory, which provides for the priority of moral incentives.
