Economic universals in the worldview of the Russian intelligentsia in the first half of the XIX century

The article analyzes the solutions for the agrarian and peasant issues by the representatives of the Russian intelligentsia of different trends and movements in Russia in the first half of the XIX century. The author points out that the abolition of serfdom became the starting point for modernization of the whole way of life in Russia. The intelligentsia becomes an active subject of socio-economic reorganization of the society. The paper reviews the economic projects of Russian intelligentsia estimating their position on the abolition of serfdom issues and terms of liberation. For example, it covers the issues of land vesting and redemption payments.
