Economic mechanism of territorial development adapted to the conditions of their development

In modern conditions, the economic mechanism of territorial development, adapted to the specifics of this process, is a pressing problem. Territorial development is a multifaceted process aimed at increasing the competitiveness and sustainability of territories. The key direction of territorial development is to ensure sustainable economic growth, which takes into account the interests of the population, economic factors and environmental aspects. The purpose of the work is to determine the economic mechanism of territorial development, adapted to the conditions of their development. The study presents the key aspects of the economic mechanism that can help create a sustainable, effective strategy for territorial development, and formulates the main stages of the research methodology. The main aspects of the economic mechanism are: a comprehensive analysis of the current level of development of the entities located in the territory and the quality of life on them, analysis of the adaptation of management mechanisms, investment and financing, innovation and technology, environmental sustainability, social policy, integration with external markets, cultural and historical heritage. For each aspect, its key components are presented. The results of our study can be used in the development of programs, projects, strategies for territorial development aimed at increasing the economic potential and sustainability of regions, improving the quality of life of the population. This study was carried out within the framework of the state assignment of the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences No. 075-00570-24-01 for 2024 and for the planning period of 2025 and 2026.
