The article analyzes the main socio-economic indicators of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 30 years (1994- 2023). A step-by-step analysis of the main macro indicators led to the following conclusions: according to the dynamics of GDP per capita, starting from 1994 and ending in 2013, the economy is characterized by greater dynamism. It is noted that during this period, the population accumulated significant savings and directed these funds into their own business, which gave a significant impetus to the development of entrepreneurship in the country. The period from 2014 to 2023 is characterized by intensive investment in the economy by the government and business in order to improve the future standard and quality of life. The positive dynamics of improving socio-economic indicators affects the qualitative growth of the economy and the increase in the population from 700 thousand to 1 million people annually. The low levels of public debt in the republic are a positive factor, and the policy of increasing public debt will not bring benefits, but only harm. The results of the research can be used in the development and implementation of state economic policy, and will also be useful to specialists and civil servants involved in the development of strategic directions for the development of the economy.
