Economic inequality in the EAEU countries: migration factor

Economic inequality is one of the most pressing issues facing the modern world. The negative impact of inequality on economic growth has been confirmed by many theoretical and empirical studies. At the same time, there is no clear answer among economists as to the nature of the influence of the level of economic development on inequality since this influence is not unambiguous and may manifest itself with a certain delay. The aim of the study is to reveal the parameters and dynamics of economic inequality in the countries of the EAEU, to identify the factors influencing income distribution, and to determine the influence of migration on the indicators of income inequality. The research methods are based on the use of quantitative and qualitative analysis. For quantitative analysis, methods of statistical analysis and econometric modelling are used.
