Economic Justifi cation of LNG Banking as an Additional Driver for Development of the Bunking Industry in the Ports of the Russian Federation

Th e article presents an assessment of the economic impact of LNG bunkering as a driving force for the formation and dynamic development of the bunkering industry as a whole, which determines the strategic vectors and points of application of eff orts to achieve maximum economic results. Th e advantages of LNG as a fuel in marine engines in comparison with other types of fuel are revealed. Th e refl ection of the indicators of the development of the bunkering industry in the ports of the Russian Federation made it possible to form the basis for strategic development with a long-term planning horizon. Th e economic justifi cation of LNG bunkering as a driver of the bunkering industry in the ports of the Russian Federation is presented.
