Economic development of the far eastern ethnic regions in the RSFSR during the Great Patriotic War (case study of the Bystrinsk region)

The article deals with some aspects of economic development of the Far Eastern ethnical districts in the RSFSR during the Great Patriotic War by case study of the archival documents of the Bystrinsk region located in the Kamchatka Territory. The author reviews formation and development of the collective farms (kolkhoz) during the period of the war, and expansion of their specialization. The special attention is paid to the complications and failures in this process, and their reasons.
