Economics development on region: the estimate resource potencial

The article examines the level of economic development of the region from the standpoint of assessing its resource potential. An analysis of the demographic, geographic, land, production and industry potential of the Altai Territory makes it possible to determine its place and contribution to the gross regional product of the Siberian Federal District, since the assessment of the resource potential and factors affecting its economic level of development largely determines the economic policy of the Siberian Federal District. One of the priority directions of the economic policy of the region is the development of foreign trade. The issues of ensuring the economic development of the region are considered as a combination of the current state of resources, factors and conditions that ensure stability and progress in the development of the regional economy.
