The economic condition of the poultry industry in the Novosibirsk region

Poultry farming is a high priority in the system of agro-industrial complex of Russia and Novosibirsk region as one of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation. The poultry sub-complex plays an important role in the socio-economic development of the region. This area of research is relevant at both the regional and Federal levels. The article is aimed at highlighting the issue of economic status of poultry production in the Novosibirsk region. The aim of this study is to analyze the current state of the industry and to identify prospects for future sustainable development of the poultry organizations. The article presents the results of assessing the economic condition of poultry Novosibirsk region. The study authors identified a number of problems that were limiting factors in the development of the sector in question and requires an integrated approach to their solution. The proposed activities, which will allow the regional poultry industry to compete with the products of the enterprises at the Federal level in the international meat market, and will contribute to a more sustainable development of the poultry industry in the region.
