Economic cooperation between Russia and Turkey

The article analyzes the current state and prospects of development of Russian-Turkish economic relations. The subsequent conclusion that both countries are natural partners and should develop economic cooperation, despite a number of difficulties. Before the global economic crisis, bilateral trade between Russia and Turkey was rapidly going up: foreign direct investment increased, the annual number of Russian tourists was on the rise, and energy cooperation was more intensive.
