Economics of education: new definitions of human capital

The theory of human capital is the dominant theory of education in economics and considered only skills that increase labor productivity. Later, the broader concept of education economics combined a one-dimensional approach to education with an approach based on human capabilities, which is centered around a person, not an employee. The article discusses the relationship between economics and education, in particular, the declining role of the level of education in the context of human capital.
