COVID-19 economics: the practice for overcoming the coronacrisis

The article discusses various practices of combating COVID-19 at the beginning of the world disease. Authoe present three categories of countries and describe their approaches to overcome the COVID-19 . Anti-crisis measures to support the economy on the way to overcoming the socio-economic consequences of the pandemic are also described. The purpose of writing this article is to study national practices of overcoming the pandemic and the socio-economic consequences of COVID-19 for the future subsequent formation of an idea about the state of the global economy and the necessary measures for its further regulation. The author uses methods of comparative and statistical analysis. The forecasts of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank are also mentioned. The transformations of the strategic goals of the EU countries during the pandemic are revealed, the EU reforms in the economic sphere are outlined. Author noted the high efficiency and ability of many countries to develop new mechanisms for supporting the population and regulating the economy. The author also identifies the main trends in the development of the Eurozone and raises questions about the objectives of the monetary policy of the European Central Bank. The experience and forecasts of Russia are also studied, statistical data of the federal budget are given. The author has identified several promising areas of development for Russia, such as the solution of environmental and climate problems, the development of “green” and digital economies.
