Knowledge economy in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and ways of development

The article analyzes the main factors of the current development of the knowledge economy in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the problems of its formation, including the investment climate and business in the Arctic regions, considers national and regional programs for the development of a digital and creative economy, gives the results of these programs, including which is the regional program “Digital Economy”, which includes the projects Information Infrastructure, Information Security, Digital Technology, Digital Government.This program is the implementation of projects of various sizes: the connection of socially significant objects to the Internet, information security, the introduction of an electronic mechanism for the design of services. Among them, the creation of a High-Tech Park, which includes 45 resident companies in an IT park, a laboratory for end-to-end digital technologies, a regional engineering center, a Biotechnology Center and three IT centers in areas of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), is particularly notable.The development of a creative economy is also being considered, work on which is based on the programs “Development of a creative economy and tourism in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) for 2018 - 2022” and “Concepts for the development of a creative economy of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) until 2025”, which is developing today project “Park of future generations”.
