Economic and statistical analysis of the positions of the Russian Federation in international ratings of the development of the digital economy

The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of the positions of the Russian Federation in universally recognized ratings of the development of the digital economy, calculated by international communities on a regular basis. The basis of the economic and statistical analysis was international open data, which tested the methods of correlation and cluster analysis for the time interval from 2017 to the present. It is concluded that the international ratings of the development of the digital economy are based not only on the impact of digitalization on the country’s economy, in particular on GDP, but also on the social level of digitalization among the public and private life of the population. The calculations are consistent with the conclusions of international rating agencies that our country belongs to the category of promising countries that are actively developing the digital economy.
