Economic and statistical study of the impact of digitalization on innovation activity of industrial organizations of the Union Stat

Economic and statistical stud y of t he impact of dig italization on inno vation activity of ind ustrial organizations of t he Union Stat. Research methods include economic and statistical methods, specifically correlation and regression analysis. The empirical data were sourced from the official websites of the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation and the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus. Correlation and regression analysis revealed statistically significant relationships between digitalization elements of and key innovation performance indicators. The most significant elements are digital platforms and artificial intelligence. Recommendations propose the adoption of specific digitalization tools in Union State industrial organizations including digital industrial platforms, artificial intelligence, and the Industrial Internet of Things. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the empirical qualification of digitalization’s impact on innovation activity across regions of the Russian Federation and Belarus, as well as in identifying the most impactful digitalization tools. The practical significance involves the creation of an innovative development strategy and a digital transformation roadmap for Union State industrial organizations.
