Eco-political violence: transformation of environmental degradation into political violence by decay of the public institutions

The article deals with mechanisms of the eco-political violence. The author studies decay of the public institutions as an effect of the ecological degradation and a reason of the social disturbances. As an example the incidents in Mozambique are considered.
