Excursion as the form of the organization of the educational activities of the botanic garden

The article deals with the review of the excursion activities on the basis of the Volgograd Regional Botanical Garden. There is presented the theme of the research work for the schoolchildren and students, that is implemented on the basis of the botanic garden in the following fields: the study and preservation of the rare species of the plants, the study and preservation of the biological diversity of the cultural plants and the program of the excursion “The world of the tropical and subtropical plants” with the elements of the workshops.
