The article represents the data on experimental testing of gel forms wound dressings based on chitosan and calcium alginate and containing biologically active substances from marine hydrobionts. On the models of thermal burn we revealed the wound healing activity of tested samples of the gels and provided the planimetric and pathomorphological evidences of acceleration the regenerative processes in the wound. The gel containing peptides from squid nerve revealed the most wound healing activity.
