The most common in agricultural asynchronous electricdrive, along with the obvious advantages (simplicity of design, reliability) has an increased starting current, which reduces the operational reliability of both the motor and the working machine due to the large amplitude of the dynamic moment fluctuations. The most pronounced accident rate for these reasons asynchronous electric drives operating in short-term modes. The use of soft starters allows to soften the dynamic characteristics, but their adjustment is necessary for each specific electric drive. As shown by mathematical modeling on the PC, it is possible to use indicators of smoothness to configure softstarters, including through the introduction of self-tuning functions. For the experimental verification of the adequacy of the theoretical findings, a setup has been developed in which the characteristics of current, speed and dynamic torque can be fixed with the help of a PC. The installation uses a multi-functional signal I /O card with an analog - to-digital Converter. A mandatory step in determining the dynamic characteristics is the digital processing of data, for example, using the linear filtering function in Exel programm. Obtained in a pilot plant dynamic performance for direct starting of Turbomechanical in good agreement with modern ideas about what is happening Electromechanical processes in the electric drive.
