Experimental research of the process of dosing using a dispenser with forced air flow

The study of technological processes for the cultivation of field crops makes it possible to identify specific patterns to improve them further. Studies of single-seed sowing with advanced devices will improve the quality of their operation. One of the advanced devices is a dispenser with forced air flow. An experimental study was made to research the process of dosing corn seeds with a dispenser with forced air flow developed at the Azov-Black Sea Engineering Institute, branch of Don State Agrarian University and used on a seed spacing drill SPV-870 (manufacturer LLC NIPVF Tenzor-T). Experimental tasks were solved with the use of methods of mathematical statistics and experimental planning. There has been developed a digitally supported stand for a laboratory study of the process of dosing corn seeds by a dispenser with a forced air flow. The stand allows you to fix the number of seeds falling into seed cells of the seed disc in the intake. This made it possible to conduct a multifactoral experiment of Type 23. There has been conducted the research of the influence of the three factors, that is, the hole diameter of dosing cells of the seed disk, the air pressure in the dispenser, the disk rotation frequency of the dispenser at the upper and lower levels, on the process of dosing corn seeds. There have been analyzed experimental results and synthesized a mathematical model with the use of a conventional method of planning and processing experimental results. Substituting the variations of the factors into a developed model, there have been syn-thesized expressions for building graphs for isolines of sections of the response surfaces in coded and natural form. There have been built the graphs for isolines of single-seed supply of corn seeds through seed cells of the dispenser with forced air flow. The use of graphs has contributed to the determination of necessary rational parameters and modes for the high-quality operation of the dispenser with forced air flow. The use of rational parameters will make it possible to increase the number of single-seed feeds by a dispenser with forced air flow up to 95-98%.
