Experimental study of interaction lanthanides with bismuth in the nickel alloys

The results of interaction lanthanides with bismuth in the Ni-Pr-Bi, Ni-Nd-Bi, Ni-Dy-Bi and Ni-Er-Bi systems are investigated. The melting points of most intermetallic compounds substantially exceed the potential oporating tomperature of heat-resistant nickel alloys. Therefore the intermetallic comyounds should not degrade the properties of the alloy.
