Experimental study of the wave energy conversion device

Бесплатный доступ

The use of marine wave energy converters can be a solution to both issues of power supply to consumers located on the shore and issues of reducing emissions during energy production. At the moment, a number of devices for converting wave energy have been developed. However, they do not allow us to adequately solve the problem of stable wave energy conversion. The purpose of this work is to develop a device for converting wave energy into electrical energy and its experimental study. In this paper, the scheme and principle of operation of the device is presented. The test of the device consists of two stages: the study of the operation of the buoy when filled with air, and then with carbon dioxide. As a result of the experiment, it follows that when filling the buoy with carbon dioxide, the efficiency of the wave energy converter is about 1.5 times higher than filling with air.
