The article investigates the character of narrative solutions in Labyrinths - the most surprising work among Vacłaŭ Łastoŭski's literary pieces that has no analogues in the Belorussian literature of that time. A number of significant examples is analyzed (the event of the first encounter with the character, the invisible “publisher”'s existence, the paratext play, etc.) that evidences an attempt at conscious “implementation” of internal dialogue possibilities of artistic expression and the author's initiative in creating polysubjective narration. Among the markers of the author's active use of polyphonic statement are viewed dialogized textual constructions in the I-narrator's continuous discourse, as well as the change of an observation focus in different narration sections and a relatively developed characters nomination system. Thus, Labyrinths should be called a story in which for the first time in the Belorussian literature a completely new author's strategy of composing a literary work is revealed.
