The article analyzes the conjuncture of the nuclear energy market in terms of exports and imports. The purpose of the work is to analyze the export and import of Russian nuclear fuel in the context of international cooperation and identify further promising recommendations. The objectives of the research are to study the theoretical aspect of the nuclear industry in the current conditions, to analyze the import and export of nuclear fuel, in particular, uranium, in the international arena, identifying the key players in this market and identifying the main competitors. An important task is to develop a forecast model containing promising directions in the field of nuclear fuel abroad. The methods used in the work include a theoretical analysis of aspects of the functioning of nuclear energy, the method of analysis, statistics and generalization. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that Russia's main competitors in the nuclear energy industry are identified, while the trade balance of the countries is considered. The indicators of import and export of nuclear fuel and uranium are also analyzed. The paper proposes a predictive model containing promising directions in the development of nuclear energy. The result of the work is directions for the implementation of international cooperation measures with countries that need to import uranium. The role of nuclear energy in modern global politics is confirmed from the point of view of theories of international relations.
