Export potential of Russia: implementation practice and new trends in development

Modern realities are creating new conditions for the development of foreign economic activity of the Russian Federation, which has significant export potential. Russia's key export-oriented commodities remain oil, gas, ferrous metals, and coal. The article determines that after the intensification of Western sanctions due to the SVO in Ukraine, Russian oil companies began to redirect supplies from the European market to the market of Asian and African countries, which involves making effective decisions on the development of appropriate transport and logistics infrastructure. It is concluded that stimulating the development of Russia's export potential cannot be focused solely on the capabilities of the country's mineral and raw materials complex. Tourist exports are becoming one of the strategically oriented areas for the development of the country's economy, facilitating the import of financial resources into the host country. Hence the importance of government decisions not only in the sphere of supporting the country's raw materials industry, but also including active support for export tourism in the range of strategic guidelines.
