Analyzed is the experience of application of extracorporeal perfusion oxygenation in the treatment of severe pulmonary-cardiac deficit, developed after surgeries on heart among 13 of 552 operated patients. Causative factors of development of perioperative pulmonary and/or cardiac deficit were: severe perioperative myocardial infarction, deficient mass of contraction myocardium of aortic ventricles, unsatisfactory morpho-functional condition of aortic ventricle, the massive aerial embolism of coronary vessels, high pulmonary hypertension, subtotal bilateral pneumonia and the cardiac tamponada. The experience of extracorporeal perfusion oxygenation application has demonstrated the high efficiency of perfusion techniques in the treatment of postoperative pulmonary-cardiac incompetence. The use of extracorporeal perfusion oxygenation promoted favorable outcome among 8 patients.
