The transliterated cursive writing source is introduced for scientific use in the article. The author carries out its paleographic and source study analysis in brief, traces the relations in the document circulation. On the basis of the extract the article describes the suppression of the rebellious movement by the Tyumen Voivode Office in Tyumen in 1774 during the Peasants’ War under the leadership of Yemelyan Pugachev. The paper considers the inquiry procedure that identified presumable organizers and witnesses of the revolt among the interrogated exiled.
