Extremism and terrorism in Russia: social and managerial aspect

The article provides a systematic analysis of the practice of countering the ideologies of extremism and terrorism in the Russian Federation. Based on theoretical analysis, the essence, content, problems of countering the ideology of extremism and terrorism in the Russian Federation are revealed. Indicators for which terrorism is classified have been identified. A comparison is made between the domestic and foreign concepts of countering the ideology of extremism and terrorism. Methods are proposed to study the system of countering the ideology of extremism and terrorism in the Russian Federation. The reasons for the actualization of terrorism and extremism in Russia have been identified. Based on a specific empirical study, the most common types of terrorism were identified. Practical recommendations are given in the field of improving the regulatory legal framework; in the field of administrative and organizational work and in the field of theoretical development and research.
