Emergency hemostasis with danis stent in patient with portal hypertension and bleeding complications

We observed 7 patients, to whom in a case of portal haemorrage for haemostasis covered nitilone stents Ella - Danis were implanted. The investigation revealed that stent Ella - Danis is high effective mean for urgent haemostasis in a case of bleeding fromesophageal varices, but there is no reasonable implication for prophylactic protector implantation. Compression, provided by huge diameter stent allows securely stop bleeding during 1-2 days, it was obsereved at all our patients. Haemostasis after stenting rather resistant, so it helps to perform stage ligation of esophageal varices in a comfortable conditions.
