The article deals with the phenomenon of cultural memory in the context of preservation of cultural heritage. The author describes the experience of implementation of the project “The electronic information system and source base “Cultural memory of the modern Russia: Euro-Arctic North". The materials presented on the website (audio recordings, memoirs, photos) keep the information potential of the cultural heritage imprinted in the memory of inhabitants of the European Arctic North.
