Electronic government as one of the tools to increase the efficiency of public governance

This article analyzes the experience of building an e-government system in Russia, which wascreated using foreign practices, but also the features of Russian reality. At the same time, the Russian Federation sought to develop its own direction in this area and consider the possibilities of information and communication technologies and the peculiarities of domestic reality. This helped create a more efficient and uniquee-government system that meets Russian needs and conditions. The study, systematization and generalizationof theoretical experience and developments in the field of e-government contribute to the identification of newdirections for its improvement. By analyzing existing and successfully implemented approaches from variouscountries and regions, it is possible to find out which methods and solutions are most effective and applicablein the context of the Russian Federation.
