Electrical injury in life structures and ways to reduce and eliminate it

The article draws attention to the expansion of the need for life systems for electrical energy in connection with the expansion of production and the development of electrical technologies. It is noted that production processes are accompanied by lethal electrical injuries to people. The article presents the dynamics of electrical injuries for 2018-2023 (three quarters): attention is paid to the total number of fatal injuries for each of the named years, the total number of electrical injuries for each year and the total amount of them over the five-year period at energy facilities, including heating installations. It is noted that the leading positions in the total number of electrical injuries belong to consumer electrical installations and power plants and networks in almost equal shares over the five-year period (at 107 and 106 lethal electrical injuries, respectively) with 5 defeats in heating installations. Particular attention is paid to the organizational causes of electrical injuries, including preventive measures aimed at full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in terms of ensuring the electrical safety of workers when using electricity through consumer electrical installations, power plants and electrical networks, and thermal installations in compliance with the requirements of noncompliance of the electrical safety group with the type of work. In terms of the territorial distribution of electrical damage in 2021, the Central (12 people died), Privolzhsky and Northwestern (8 people each died) Federal Districts stand out. There are also technical reasons for electrical damage. To dynamically reduce and eliminate electrical damage, it is necessary to supplement organizational preventive measures with innovative engineering and technical solutions from the scientific and pedagogical school of the St. Petersburg State Agrarian University. This will make it possible to level out the human factor in preventive measures, which is decisive in organizational preventive measures.
