Elements of technology of cultivation of oilseed radish in pure and mixed crops in forest-steppe of the Average Volga region

In the forest-steppe conditions of the Middle Volga region studied oilseed radish in pure and mixed crops. The results of the study showed that in the natural and climatic conditions of the region, oilseed radish is able to form a crop of green mass in pure crops at the level of 33.9 t/ha.when radish is included in mixed crops, it is possible to obtain up to 5.1 t/ha of dry matter and up to 0.68 t/ha of digestible protein. For fodder purposes, oil radish is recommended to be sown in an ordinary way with a seeding rate of 4.0 million germinating seeds per hectare.
