The article is dedicated to the problem of emigration of the Armenian people from Turkey and Armenia to European countries in 1915-1928. The authors have substantiated the claim that the main reason for emigration of the Armenians to different countries of the world was the genocide of the Armenian people during the tragic events of 1915-1923 in Ottoman Turkey and Armenia. The paper covers the activities of the Armenian committees and emigrant organizations in solving social problems of refugees from Turkey and Armenia, especially in the first, most difficult stage of their stay in Russia and Bulgaria. The work on creation of the center of Armenian exile in France is shown. The article has revealed the participation of international organizations (the International Red Cross, the League of Nations) to assist the Armenian refugees.
