The article reveals the role of the emotional component in the educational and professional growth of students. It describes the experience in the diagnostic of emotional states in the case of ISEDT RAS post-graduate students. The survey results for the 2009 – 2013 period are reviewed and analyzed. The measures facilitating the optimization of the emotional comfort of test subjects are discovered.
