Empathy in the professional activities of «helping» professions and professions of extreme activity profile

The authors consider the phenomenon of empathy in the article. The professional activity of employees of law enforcement agencies and the professional activity of representatives of "helping" professions are analyzed. It is emphasized that these types of activities are closely related to a significant psycho-emotional load. It is concluded that empathy is considered a necessary factor in the moral development of the individual; empathy contributes to the development of humane relationships, altruistic style of behavior.
