The empirical methods of the historical and philosophical programme

The article is devoted to the exposition and analysis of the basic types of empirical methodology applied in historical and philosophical cognition: historical and philosophical experiment, scientific measuring, scientific observation, and historical and philosophic description. In the course of the analysis it was reveavled that the considered types of empirical methodology are in this or that way stipulated by theoretical and metatheoretical levels of the research programme, and that is why they are not self-sufficient for historico-philosophical science.
