Endoscopic surgery of the nose and paranasal sinuses

In this paper, an assessment of modern methods of surgical treatment of patients with pathology of the lacrimal drainage system and concomitant pathology from the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses was carried out. Minimally invasive methods of surgical treatment of patients with this pathology are analyzed. The criteria for the choice of endonsal endoscopic dacryocystorinostomy with simultaneous correction of pathology from the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses are formulated. A comparative assessment of the multidisciplinary approach to patients with this pathology at the stages of preoperative preparation and postoperative management was carried out. A comparative analysis of the features of the postoperative period and the long-term results of surgical treatment after transcanalicular laser dacryocystorinostomy, endonasal endoscopic dacryocystorinostomy with prolonged stenting of the lacrimal tracts, with simultaneous correction of rhinopathology and recanalization of the lacrimal tracts was carried out.
