Energy security in the context of climate change and sustainable development

The article analyses the modern ideas about the concept of "energy security", considers energy security strategies based on the interests of various actors, concepts and definitions proposed by the research. The key elements of energy security are the factors of sufficient and reliable supply of energy resources at affordable prices with stable supply systems. Based on a literature review and comparative analysis, the author identifies the various approaches to energy security and reveal the content of the US energy security index. The author argues that an interdisciplinary approach to the study of the concept of energy security offers the most in-depth discussion of topical issues of energy security.
