The energy framework of the Republic of Bashkortostan in the region to region paradigm

The paper examines the phenomenon of Russia's turning to the East as a way of achieving balance in relation to the traditional bias towards Eurocentrism. The changed reality necessitates designing modern models of the energy framework of a country, in this case it is exemplified by one of the most developed industrial regions, the Republic of Bashkortostan, where the petrochemical cluster is dominant. For the first time in the geopolitical context, an attempt was made to explore the geoeconomic initiative to develop the gas transportation systems through implementation of the international investment project "Building the "Bavly - Kumertau" automobile road" as part of the international transport route "Europe - Western China" on the territory of the Republic of Bashkortostan with active participation of PJSC "Gazprom" on the basis of combining joint initiatives of the EEU and the SCO in the context of the region to region interaction.
