The energy efficiency of water supply systems of large cities of Russia

The results of the analysis of data on energy efficiency in the field of water supply contained in the disclosure standards for 2011-17 years for 6 major cities of Russia are presented. The changes in the specific power consumption for water supply to the network over the years are presented, the approximation of data from reports using a polynomial of the 2nd order is performed. Averaging of all approximation dependences and construction of confidence intervals are carried out. It is established that the specific power consumption for water supply to the network falls. This is in line with Federal programmes aimed at improving energy efficiency.
