Energy efficient materials in buildings

The article shows the relevance of improving the energy efficiency of buildings, in accordance with the requirements of building regulations and in connection with rising energy prices. It is established that the greatest heat losses occur through the walls of buildings. The data on the modern assortment of heat-shielding materials are systematized. Energy-efficient materials for single-layer and multilayer wall structures are presented. The advantages and disadvantages of some solutions are revealed.
