Ergonyms of the city of Yelets as a reflection the reality of the city environment

The article presents an analysis of the ergonyms of the city of Yelets, which characterize the features of the names of state and commercial enterprises. The study examines the semantics of ergonyms, their structural and word-forming features, as well as the functions of language influence on the addressee.
