The eschatological event of the mission in modern orthodox missiology

Modern Orthodox missiology consists of several directions. One of them is the theology of mission. In the development of theology of mission, the actual problem is the missionary interpretation of Orthodox ecclesiology. An important direction in the development of this study is the eschatological understanding of the mission. In this article, various modern approaches to the eschatological problems of missiology are analyzed. The eschatology of the mission is an extremely relevant area of the theology of mission, which allows, if not resolved, then at least to put a number of significant problems of Orthodox mission. Therefore, the further development of the theology of mission should take into account the need for a holistic perception of the mission event in an eschatological perspective.
