Escort Agencies in the Youth Environment as a Criminological Problem: Essence and Prevention

Introduction: the article discusses issues related to escort agencies (prostitution) as a phenomenon that causes concern in Russian society and represents a complex problem that requires a comprehensive and multifaceted approach to prevention. This article examines the main factors contributing to the spread of escort services in Russia and analyzes prevention strategies that include social, economic, legal, and educational measures. Special attention is given to the role of family, education, and the media in shaping values and attitudes that contribute to reducing the demand and supply of escort services. Materials and Methods: in the process of writing the article, the comparative legal, statistical methods, as well as the method of formal logic were used. The research materials were the scientific literature of domestic scientists. Results: the article analyzes the phenomenon of escort prostitution and the factors that contribute to the prevalence of this phenomenon. The negative impact of escort prostitution on young people is considered. Discussion and Conclusions: the authors conclude that it is necessary to prevent escort prostitution among young people by implementing socio-economic, legal, and educational measures. They also emphasize the importance of family and media roles, as well as working with risk groups, in preventing escort prostitution among young people.
