Aesthetic sphere as a place of interaction between Russian symbolism and European post-modernism

An important trait of philosophy of Russian Symbolism and European Postmodernism is their close relationship with literature and art. The philosophers believe that the artistic ways of cognition can discover things that lie beyond the level of rational science. The author studies the ideas of early and late XX century philosophers about the synthesis of different knowledge forms as a real way of creating a new culture.
